Data Collection and Analysis
There are many reliability databases available with a wide variety of equipment types. While these databases have useful purposes, no data is better than the historical data from your specific operation. Many times our clients believe that they have no data, too little data, or data that is too corrupted to be useful. Our analysts have years of experience in extracting the toughest of data through rigorous searches of electronic files, maintenance systems, written records, parts procurement records, vendor data, log books, and personnel interviews (to name a few). We typically leave our clients pleasantly surprised by how much good and useful data is actually available, and assist them in understanding the limitation, assumptions, and proper use of that data. Collecting and analyzing data is an important step and is the basis for most reliability prediction methods, and we provide the analysis appropriate to your objectives including the following :
· Distribution Analysis (Weibull, Lognormal, etc)
· Reliability Growth Analysis
· Optimum Replacement Intervals
· Reliability Model Inputs
· Confidence Bounds
